Taxes and duties
Orders shipped internationally may be subject to import duties and taxes upon receipt in destination country. The customer is responsible for any customs charges that may be applied to the shipment. Unfortunately, OffTheWood has no control over these charges and is not responsible for any actions taken by customs or delivery services.
Undeliverable packages due to client error will not be refunded.
Where are my items coming from?
We ship direct from our fulfilment houses located in Canada, US and Europe depending of product availability so we can keep our prices competitive and past those savings on to you.
Am I able to track my package?
Yes. All orders will have the ability to be tracked. Tracking details will be emailed to the email address you provide at checkout when the order is dispatched from the warehouse. If you don't receive it, please contact us at email@example.com
Will my items be sent in one package?

Do I have to sign for the package.
In most instances no. If it is safe, they will leave the package in a safe space. Alternatively the courier will leave a calling card, inviting you to pick up your package at the nearest depot.
WARRANTY on Wooden bowties
We stand behind our product line 100%. Warranty claims will cover all products received damaged. OffTheWood reserves the right to determine manufacturing defects, and requires proof of purchase from an authorized OffTheWood dealer to qualify product as warrantable. If the product is considered defective, we will repair or replace it at no cost. In the case of approved warranty replacement, kindly ship us the old unit and we will send a new unit to you at no charge. All our products come with a 1 year warranty

WARRANTY on Wooden frames against defects
OffTheWood provides a warranty for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase (the day the consumer buys the product from our online store or one of our authorized retailers) against faulty manufacture. This means that if the frame breaks in any way due to a fault in manufacturing that OffTheWood will repair the frame free of charge. If the frame is not repairable, OffTheWood will replace the whole frame free of charge. Due to the limited nature of our product we may not be able to offer a repair or replacement frame, in this instance OffTheWood will offer an equivalent style of frame from our wooden eyewear selection.
This warranty does not cover lenses in any way.
This warranty does not cover product that is lost, stolen, dropped, shattered, sat on, or damaged in any other way incurred by excess force from the user.
OffTheWood reserves the right to refuse any warranty claim that it deems to be the consumer’s fault.
OffTheWood must view the faulty product to approve any warranty claim. To lodge a warranty claim the customer must do the following
- Send the faulty frames to OffTheWood (email us for return address)
- Supply proof of purchase
- Provide description of the fault and how it came about
Free Returns (Only in Canada and USA)
We want you to completely love your purchase, which is why we offer free returns on all wooden bowties and wooden sunglasses orders. We have a 30 day, no questions-asked return and exchange policy for all of our products.

Our policy lasts 60 days. If 60 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a 5 to 10 business days depending on your financial institution.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org for return instructions.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
*For any returns due to customer's error or fault, there will be a fee for the return shipping cost of $12.
Shipping fees, duties and taxes cannot be refunded. Customer is responsible for the shipping cost to return the items.
